Highlights

Overview

At an altitude of 6059m, this peak climbing trek is a part of the very famous  western Himalayas range of Nepal’s Annapurna. It was in the year of 1955 that a German Expedition team was successful in scaling the summit and since then this route has been providing both trekking and climbing experience to those looking for adventure. Although it is consider as not very difficult, trekking through the icy crystal clear Tilicho Lake and crossing of Mesokanta Pass at the height of 5120m can be tiresome and rewarding at the same time. The destination serves as the view point of the great wall of Annapuna II, III and IV, Mt. Gangapurna and several other snow capped peaks.
Malung Treks & Expedition has designed this route not only for the showcasing of the beautiful Nepali landscapes but also of the large group of ethnic people residing in the same region. Large stonewalled village houses, green terraced rice fields of the Gurung community, put a light upon the pure culture of the traditional Manangpa clans are the must do activities in this 18 days of trek.
