Mr. Dorchi Sherpa is our travel and trekking expert, who started to work in Nepal’s tourism field since 1992! Born in a small village just on the lap of the world’s third largest mountain, Mt. Kanchenjunga. Mr Dorchi Sherpa spend his childhood raising animals and helping his family. It was when he turned 16 that he made the decision to move to Kathmandu, the country’s capital and started to work in tourism industry. In 1995 he successfully became a licensed trekking guide and has been guiding travelers through the Himalayas for many years. With now a vast knowledge of different trails, villages and mountains, Mr Sherpa decided to learn more about abroad tourism and traveled to North and South America visiting the USA, Argentina and Chile. Already being well educated in Nepalese history, culture, trekking trails, Himalayas and the fauna and flora of trans-Himalayan areas, he gained even further knowledge due to his travels and is multilanguage as well!
Now Mr. Dorchi Sherpa is the co-founder of Malung Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. and acts as the marketing director. Organizing new trails and travel packages to keep traveling to Nepal interesting and adventurous, he is always available for any enquiry and helps you find the perfect holiday in Nepal!
